PRIMARY POSITION ELIGIBILITY
The NFL supplies a list of every player's position eligibility, including rookies, prior to the start of each season. Generally speaking, these will be each player's primary position within the game, although we reserve the right to designate a player differently. Once the season begins, we simply cannot change these primary positions, as they must remain fixed throughout the course of the season.
ADDITIONAL POSITION ELIGIBILITY
While a player cannot lose eligibility during the season, he can gain it, whenever circumstances warrant. Commissioners/league managers (LM) do not have the ability to modify a player's position eligibility.
It's important to note that the roster minimums and maximums within your league's settings relate to the primary position only (the first position listed next to a player), not any additional positions granted.
Our system uses the NFL's official disabled list to update players' injury status, so if the player in question on your team was recently put on IR then the system will register that change shortly. After the IR tag appears next to that player's name you'll be able to send him to an IR slot on your roster, but only if your league make use of that clutch feature.
MANAGING YOUR INJURED RESERVE
So your stud running back just had a season-ending injury and you watched your fantasy season collapse before your eyes. Now you've regained your composure, you're here and you're wondering how you can move him to an IR slot and carry on valiantly. First off, we feel your pain. More than likely the system hasn't updated their official injury status to IR yet (as marked with an asterisk and an "IR" tag next to the player's name) so until that happens he's stuck on your active roster.
If the tag already appears then you're in luck! Just click on the "Manage IR" link at the top of your team page and follow the instructions from there. To move a player back from IR to your active roster do the exact same thing - click on the "Manage IR" link on your team page and then activate the player. It should be noted that the link will only appear in leagues which use IR slot(s), so if you don't see it just complain to your commish until they change the rules next season to include it (if you're in an LM League)!
There's nothing worse than being in a league where collusion has an impact on the standings, so to prevent that we created "The Undroppable Players List" comprised of the top fantasy players who can't be sent to waivers/free agency. Without this feature an owner who is out of contention could drop a star player for their buddy to pick up who is first on the waiver order, therein bolstering their team for the playoffs. This is something that could ruin the integrity of your league. We can't have that, so the list is now a standard feature for all leagues.
If of course you'd like to turn it off for any reason head to "Edit League Settings" then click on "edit" next to "Player Rules" before selecting "No" next to "Observe ESPN's Undroppable Player List".
View the players listed as undroppable.
The Adjust Scoring feature is only available in League Manager (LM) leagues. The "Adjust Scoring" link can be accessed from both the LM Tools and Scoreboard pages. Using this feature the LM can adjust the scoring of any game by simply adding or subtracting points from a team for a given week. If the scoring adjustment changes the end result of the game (ie, from a win to a loss), the standings page will immediately update to reflect the adjusted game result.
NOTE: If an adjustment is made to a game, the box score pages will reflect the change with an asterisk.
Often times the reason fantasy team owners cannot access the smack boards or live scoring is because the user's firewall network settings or antivirus software is preventing access to this service. Users should review their firewall and antivirus settings to allow real-time streaming or chat functionality to be permitted.
