Ellis (hamstring) was behind the plate for five innings in a minor league game over the weekend and should see action in a split-squad game Tuesday, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.

"So kind of starting to building up towards a game somewhere without any setbacks."
Ellis (hamstring) is still about 10 days away from playing and will not represent Team USA in the World Baseball Classic, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
